Diane Abbott

Born 1953 - Labour politician.
Studied at Newnham College Cambridge, obtained a Masters degree in history. In 1987 was the first black woman ever elected to Parliament. Appears regularly on radio and television including hosting a phone-in show for LBC radio and the BBC1 late night political discussion show.
