1874 - 1967. Soprano.

Went to USA as a child. Studied singing in Chicago and Paris. In 1900 she took over a title role of an opera in mid-performance when the singer was taken ill. Had 20 year association with Chicago Grand Opera. Returned to Scotland in 1939.
