The Fens

The Fens have a unique landscape epitomised by big skies, beautiful sunsets and carpeted with a mosaic of colour for as far as the eye can see. We have a host of places for you to visit and things for you to do around the region. Come and visit our varied region of Spalding, Boston, King's Lynn, Wisbech and Ely.

Known for its horticultural heritage with fields of Daffodils in the spring and roses in the summer, vibrant market towns, extensive navigable waterways and its thriving ports, the Fens offer an experience with a real difference.

The Cathedral city of Ely lies just a few miles from Cambridge, yet offers a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday rush, King's Lynn the town with two market places, Boston with its Hanseatic heritage and wonderful shopping, Wisbech where you can still find some of the most outstanding Georgian architecture in Great Britain and Spalding the home of the Spalding Flower Parade.
