Clayton-Le-Woods is a thriving village where the River Lostock flows in the County of Lancashire, and is home to nearly fourteen and a half thousand people. There is a mixture of architecture from elegant Georgian houses, weaver's cottages on Sheep Hill Lane, modern buildings, and an ancient Coaching Inn which served the travellers of yesterday. From its quiet beginnings of a small farming community it grew into the village today being a commuters favourite. There is a choice of shops, restaurants and delightful pubs to enjoy, and although nudging the busy town of Chorley at the edge of the village there's a chance to explore the beautiful Cuerdon Valley Park where woodland and meadows stretch for 650 acres.
