| Events in Parsons Green
Parsons Green is a quiet area of Fulham, south-west London. Tucked away between Fulham Road to the north and New King's Road to the south, Parsons Green is a residential district filled with attractive Victorian terraces and Georgian houses. Here, the locals enjoy peacefulness and proximity to the river. At the same time, the lively cosmopolitan lifestyle of Fulham is only minutes away, offering exciting shopping, dining and nightlife. Unsurprisingly, Parsons Green has been long sought-after by home-buyers, and the influx of young professionals and city workers has brought a fashionable quality to the existing village atmosphere. A variety of cafés, bars and gastropubs have opened to a warm welcome. One pub, The White Horse, has been nicknamed the "Sloaney Pony" due to its upmarket clientele, while others are more discreetly well-to-do. Built around the triangular green of its name, Parsons Green offers an excellent base to visitors wishing to explore the wider area. Putney, nearby, is a charming place and a great starting point for scenic walks and cycle rides along the banks of the Thames. Parsons Green is also convenient to the Earls Court and Olympia exhibition halls, and to the concert halls and theatres of Hammersmith.
