More Information

Guest House delightfully situated, overlooking a nature reserve and the spectacular North Devon coast. Varley House was built at the turn of the 19th Century to revitalise and refresh officers returning from the Boer War.

The elegance of its generously proportioned rooms and stylish furnishings is typical of the gracious age. Varley House is perfectly complimented by the quality, courtesy and warmth of the hospitality you will enjoy here. From the moment you arrive, whether you are planning a really active few days or a restful break. Varley House offers you a unique friendly atmosphere and the soothing surroundings essential for a relaxing holiday. All of our rooms are en-suite except for the single, which has own facilities. We do evening meals (please notify us by 16.30 on day of arrival) and we cater for vegetarians.
