Good Points: I was a very friendly atmosphere, very down to earth. Fine respect for privacy & fine breakfast. Bad Points: A question of personal taste: the decor is perhaps not what we would have liked ourselves, but when have you been at a hotel / b&b where you thought that you would live like this? Still we regard it as individual taste, regarding the decor. And you could wisely argue, that you spend the least time in your room. And finally, we could have chosen a room, that we could see pictured beforehand...we didn't. General Review: We wanted af fine base in York and we got what we wanted & couldn't put a finger on anthing really. We were recieved in a fine manner, there was fine breakfast og the room was cleaned up each day (we didn't expect this) So overall a very positive experience, will go back there, if in York again. The Hollies was closer to the center of York than expected, we therefore walked the distance & enjoyed the fine sorroundings.
