Tremadog, North Wales

Review of Tremadog by MR D DOWNS on May 19th, 2008
I have been a visitor to Tremadog for over47yrs I have seen it grow and change ,and made many good friends there. Time to take my grandson to stay in the Madoc hotel and show him the the site's .Booked in for the night great,or so I thought, what a shock to the system, ill fitting carpets should have been enough of a give away with 2&3 inch rucks, cracked window (dirty cracked window)or the wall paper hanging off "yuk" was my grandsons word, but the last straw was the cockroach on the window sill, time to leave the once great hotel, the one thing about the cockroach was at least it was dead The reason I have wrote this is that there was no pride in the place ,and Wales needs to atract people ,not turn them away by having filthy hotels
